WBSSC stands for West Bengal School Service Commission passed by Notification No. 936-L dated 1.4.1997 came into force with effect from 01.11.1997. WBSSC recruits willing candidates for the Posts of Assistant Teacher and Headmaster/ Headmistress in recognized Non-Government aided Schools.
The State Government later on decided that Non-Teaching Staff in the positions of Librarian, Clerk and Group-D Staff including Laboratory Attendant, Peon, Night Guard, Matron in recognized Non-Government aided Schools in West Bengal must also be selected through WB School Service Commission.
What After Downloading WBSSC Result Online?
Those applicants who will qualify the written exam may appear for Interview/Document Verification Process. Interview date will be intimated soon on its official website. Candidates must bring the following documents on day of Document Verification:
- Age proof (Birth certificate / Matriculation Certificate clearly indicating date of birth of the candidate).
