NTA CSIR UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2021:
Applicants satisfying the following conditions are allowed to fill CSIR NET 2021 Application Form:
Age Limit:
- The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) must be 28 years.
- No upper age limit for Lectureship/Assistant Professor.
- Relaxation in age limit is of 5 years in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability(PwD)/ female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non Creamy Layer) applicants.
Qualification Required:
- M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
- Candidates enrolled for M.Sc or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
- B.Sc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and OBC candidates; 50% marks for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply.
- Ph.D degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991 with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship/ Assistant Professor only.

NTA CSIR UGC NET JRF Stipend:
The candidates selected for the JRF post through CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) will be offered Rs.31, 000/ p.m. for the first two years. Along with this, annual contingency grant of Rs.20,000/- per fellow will be provided to the University / Institution.

The following amount of examination charges is to be paid through Credit/ Debit Card/ NetBanking/ UPI/ Paytm while applying for CSIR NET 2021 Exam.

NTA CSIR UGC NET Exam Pattern 2021

Council of Scientific & Industrial Research will issue CSIR NET Admit Card for registered candidates only on the official website. Those who will be appearing in the Examination are required to download their CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2021.
