JNU Entrance Exam Syllabus 2022 PDF Available Now!!! JNU is also known as Jawaharlal Nehru University and JNUEE is called Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam. JNU Entrance Exam Pattern
- Number of Questions: Different number of question for each course.
- Subjects: The subjects that include in question paper will depend upon the course. Subjects vary from 1 course to another.
- Negative Marking: +1 for Correct and -0.25 for Incorrect.
- Exam Duration: 3 hours.
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Medium of Exam: English except for BA (Hons.) Foreign Language.
- Number of Questions: 100

M.Sc. Environmental Sciences | Part-1: Include questions from Science and Mathematics of 10+2 standard.Part-2: Include questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Botany and Zoology at the B.Sc. level. |
MCA | 10+2/ Graduate level Mathematics and Probability (80% questions) and General Aptitude and reasoning (20% questions). |
M.A. in Economics (with Specialization in World Economy) | The paper tests the candidate’s knowledge in micro-economics, macro-economics, mathematics and statistics, International trade and some related disciplines, such as public economics and economic development. Objective Type Questions will be asked in examination comprising of 100 marks with negative marking. |
B.A. (Hons.) 1st year in Foreign Languages |
The paper judges General Knowledge, General English and Elementary Knowledge on the culture and civilization of the languages/ country concerned and aptitude for language skills. |
B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in Foreign Languages |
Knowledge of basic and applied grammar, besides some competence for simple translation from the language concerned into English and vice-versa and familiarity with the culture and civilization of the country concerned. The paper will be set in respective foreign language. |
M.Phil/ Ph.D and M.Tech/ Ph.D | The question paper has Graduate/ Post graduate level Mathematics and Statistics, Graduate/ Post graduate level Computer Science and General Aptitude. |

Changes in JNUEE 2022 exam pattern
Changes have been introduced in the JNUEE Entrance exam paper pattern. These changes are mentioned below:
- Mode: JNU entrance exam will be held in online computer based test mode. Earlier exam was offline pen and paper based.
- Objective type: Only multiple choice questions will be there in the exam.
JNU Entrance Topic Wise Syllabus
There have been some changes introduced in the JNUEE Exam Pattern for the entrance exam to be conducted in the month of December. From this year, the JNU Entrance Exam will be held in online computer based mode and will have only objective type questions.
