Eligibility Criteria for Bihar SC, ST, OBC Scholarship 2022:

  • Student must be a permanent residency in Bihar state only.
  • The students of reserved category SC / ST / OBC are the main beneficiaries of this scheme.
  • Students belonging to the poor families of BPL families can also apply for the scheme.
  • The annual family income certificate must also be available with the applicant.
  • Application must also holds a caste certificate and a domicile certificate of Bihar state.
  • The students be minimum 10th /12th qualified from any recognized board of education.
  • The details of bank account and Aadhar card number will also be required while filling the application from.

Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria Category wise:

For OBC:

Candidates belonging to OBCs candidates in relation to the State/UT i.e. permanently settled can apply for this scheme

Qualifying Exam Matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination
Annual income Annual income not exceed 2.5 lakhs
Pursuing Courses Pursuing Post-graduate courses in medicine

For ST:

Annual income Annual income not exceed 2.5 lakhs
Pursuing Courses Pursuing Post-graduate courses in medicine

Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Amount:

Candidates who will find eligible for Bihar Scholarship SC /ST/ OBC they will get the annual amount of award as per their courses which can be checked by going through the below given table:

Class 1 to 10 (Hosteler) Rs 250 per month

The selection of deserving candidates will be made on the basis of their eligibility conditions and their academic records. Those candidates who have good academic records in throughout their academic journey till now, they will get the preference and become shortlisted to get the scholarship amount.

Bihar Scholarship Registration 2022:

  • Press on ‘New Registration’ link if you are new user.
  • Fill Bihar Pre- Matric Scholarship Form with relevant details and you will get a “Temporary ID”.
  • Now submit his/her Temporary ID and date of birth to fill further information.
  • After completion of Bihar Scholarship registration, Permanent Registration ID will be generated

Ans: Yes. An Application ID will be provided to the candidate once his/her application is completed along with all the scanned documents uploaded successfully. It will be conveyed to candidates through SMS and e-mail. Student can also print copy of finalized application. Students should keep their Application details as it will be required while applying for renewal.
