• The scholarship is open only to Indian citizens.
• The candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

• The scholarship is open for female candidates only (including undergraduate or graduate students).
• They must be enrolled at a recognised university for the current academic year.
• The students who are graduating in 2019 and beyond can apply for the 2018-19 academic year.
• They must be pursuing studies in computer science, computer engineering or any other related technical field.
• They must be able to demonstrate a strong academic record and passion for increasing the involvement of women in computer science.

• The scholarship is open for undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in a university/college in India.
• They must be pursuing a degree programme in computer engineering, computer science or other related fields.

• The scholarship is open for students worldwide.
• To attend a conference in India, the applicant must be enrolled in a recognised university.
• He/she must be in need of a conference travel fund.
• They must have a paper accepted with a top-tier conference on computer science.
• Preference will be given to a conference whose research area is strongly related to Google’s interest.
• The applicant is required to be the primary author of the accepted paper.

• The students of classes 1 to 10 are eligible to enter the contest.
• They need to have permission from their parents/guardians/school teachers.
• The contest is not open for employees, contractors, interns, officials and representatives or affiliates.

• The contest is open for Indian students of classes 5 to 10 under the following groups –
  • Class 5 and 6
  • Class 7 and 8
  • Class 9 and 10

(Note: The students can enter the contest only through their respective computer teachers).

• Candidates should be female applicants
• They must be studying Computer Science or any other related field
• They must be in 1st year or 2nd-year student in a bachelor’s program at an accredited university
• They must demonstrate a strong academic record

• Phase 1 offers 1000 challenge scholarships to students for 3 months of courses.
• Phase 2 offers 1000 full Nanodegree scholarships to students for 6 months of courses.

• An opportunity for the students to attend the annual Women Techmakers Scholars’ Retreat.
• The fellows can also participate in various training and workshops and connect with Google mentors as well as fellow scholars.

• Financial reward of USD 750 towards the expenses related to tuition and education.
• An opportunity to visit the headquarters of YouTube in California, USA.

• The national winner will receive a college scholarship of INR 5 Lakh, a technology package worth INR 2 Lakh, a certificate/trophy of achievement and more.
• The group winners will receive a trophy/medal of recognition, certificate of achievement and more.
• The national finalist will also receive a certificate of achievement.
