• The Chief Minister has launched the RTI portal as a pilot project .
• Shlokas of Gita will be taught to the students studying in class 5th and 7th from the next session in the state of Haryana .
• North India’s first branch of National Center for Disease Control will be set up in Naggal village of Haryana at a cost of 20 crores.
• A new pink color of onion, G Prajapati NHO-920, has been developed by the National Horticulture Research and Development Foundation (National Horticulture Recharge and Development Foundation) located in Salaru village of Karnal .
• Raghavendra Tomar , former registrar of Kurukshetra University and former Dean Academic Affairs , has been appointed by the Government of India as the President of the Indian Council of Historical Research , his tenure will be for three years.
• Ajay Sharma of Haryana has been awarded the Best State Youth Award on the occasion of National Youth Day which is celebrated every year on 12th January .
• Haryana teams have won a total of 11 awards in the India Skill 2021 National Competition, which includes three gold, four silver and one bronze medal.
• Haryana Government has announced to give entrepreneur award every year on 26th January on the occasion of Republic Day after doing ITI course from government and private industrial training institutes . Under this scheme, three best entrepreneurs at the district level will be honored with entrepreneur award and cash prize of ₹ 10000, ₹ 7500 and ₹ 5000 respectively.
• Haryana’s second biogas plant will be set up at Sullar village in Ambala city of Haryana . Haryana’s first biogas plant is located in Naya village of Uklana, Hisar.
• Narendra Kumar , who lives in Gurugram district of Haryana, has created a world record by spreading the tricolor by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro , the highest peak of Africa, twice in 5 days . He has become the first citizen of India to have hoisted the tricolor on Mount Kilimanjaro twice in 5 days. He originally belongs to Hisar district but has been living in Gurugram for many years.
• Haryana Urdu Academy has decided to confer the best ” Fakhre-Haryana Samman ” of the year 2019 and 2020 to Professor Himmat Singh Sinha “Nazim” of Kurukshetra and Dr. Kumar Panipati , senior poet of Panipat . Under this award, a cash prize of five lakh rupees, a memento, a citation will be awarded.
• Haryana Urdu Academy has decided to give “ Hali Samman for the year 2019 ” to Dr. Kamaruddin Zakir (Mewat) and Krishna Kumar Toor (Dharamsala) for the year 2020. Under this award, an amount of three lakh rupees, memento and angavastra etc. will be awarded.
• Surendra Bansal (Shahbad Markanda) will be honored with “Urdu Tarjuma Nigari Samman” for the year 2019.
• Rehman Akhtar (Punjabi University, Patiala) will be honored with “ Dr. Javed Vashisht Samman ” for the year 2019 .

• कुरुक्षेत्र विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व रजिस्ट्रार और पूर्व डीन अकादमिक मामलों के डॉ. राघवेंद्र तोमर को भारत सरकार द्वारा भारतीय ऐतिहासिक अनुसंधान परिषद के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है, उनका कार्यकाल तीन साल का होग।
• हरियाणा के अजय शर्मा को राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस के अवसर पर सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य युवा पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है जो हर साल 12 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है।
• भारत कौशल 2021 राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में हरियाणा की टीमों ने कुल 11 पुरस्कार जीते हैं, जिसमें तीन स्वर्ण, चार रजत और एक कांस्य पदक शामिल हैं।
• हरियाणा सरकार ने हर साल 26 जनवरी को गणतंत्र दिवस के मौके पर सरकारी और निजी औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों से आईटीआई कोर्स करने के बाद उद्यमी पुरस्कार देने की घोषणा की है. इस योजना के तहत जिला स्तर पर तीन सर्वश्रेष्ठ उद्यमियों को क्रमशः ₹10000, ₹7500 और ₹5000 के नकद पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।
