Life Insurance Corporation of India has started LIC Scholarship 2022 – 23 Golden Jubilee Scheme (GJF) to provide higher education to students belongs to economically weaker section of the country.

Students who not proficient to study due to lack of financial support can apply and take benefit of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2022 Scheme. Under this scheme, organization will provide scholarship to meritorious students to pursue further education after passing class 12th. Eligible students can apply online for LIC Scholarship Scheme 2022 – 23 and submit applications before the last date that is December 2022.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their 10th and 12th class marks percentage under this LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2022 scheme. The Economically Weaker Section (EWS) students should have passed Intermediate examination with at least 60% marks to get LIC Scholarship 2022.

LIC Scholarship 2022

Meritorious Students who have passed in 10+2 class and want to get benefit of LIC Scholarship 2022 for completing their higher education. Candidates must fulfill the required eligibility criteria for the minimum marks in the qualifying exam to get benefits under the Life Insurance Corporation of India Scholarship.

Appliers are hereby informed that their family income must be as per the guidelines to apply for LIC Scholarship 2022. LIC Scholarship will be offered under two categories such as Regular Scholars and Special Girl Child Scholar.

LIC Scholarship Eligibility:

• For Regular Scholar

All candidates who have passed Class XII exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Academic Year 2019-20 and whose parents/guardian have an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,00,000 per annum are eligible to apply for scholarship. The grant is provided to students who are interested (and willing) to pursue higher education in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).

All candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Academic Year 2019-20 and whose parents/guardian have an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,00,000 per annum. The grant is provided to students who are interested (and willing) to pursue higher education in the field of Vocational Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).

For Special Girl Child Scholar

To encourage education to girl child, Special scholarship for Girl Child after class 10 for pursuing higher studies in 10 + 2 pattern for two years. The candidate who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Academic Year 2019-20 and whose parents/guardian have an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,00,000 per annum. The grant is provided to girl students who are interested (and willing) to pursue higher education in 10 + 2 pattern.

LIC Scholarship Amount:

• 20 Scholarship per divisional center of LIC (10 each for boys and girls) will be given to meritorious students.
• An amount of `10,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected candidate for LIC Golden Jubilee Scheme.

LIC Scholarship Selection Process:

Selection of LIC Scholar for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme will be done on basis of merit and family background such as percentage of marks in class 12th /10th and annual income of the family.

• Total marks secured in the 12th or 10+2.
• Merit list of the LIC scholars
• Candidate’s family background for example family annual income.

Procedure to fill LIC Scholarship Application Form:

• First of all, students should visit the official site that is www.licindia.in to apply for LIC Scholarship 2022.
• Thereafter go to the bottom of the home page and hit on” Golden Jubilee Foundation” link.
• This will take you at the page where you need to hit on “Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme” link available at the right side of the tat page.
• A complete LIC golden jubilee scholarship scheme notification will appear on your screen, read the complete notification carefully.
• If you find yourself eligible then Choose link ‘Apply Online for Golden Jubilee Scholarship’ for LIC Scholarship Online Apply.
• Fill the LIC Scholarship Online Application Form with correct information like personal details, educational qualification, and Bank Account Details etc.
• If a student is found to have obtained a fellowship by false statement/certificates, his / her fellowship shall be canceled.
• Press submit tab and take the hard copy of LIC Scholarship 2022 application form for future use.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Rate & Tenure:

• Under LIC Scholarship Golden Jubilee Scheme, Rs. 20000 per year will be provided to the selected student in 3 instalments.
• An amount of ₹ 10000 per year will be granted through this scheme in three instalments for the selected special girl child studying in 10+2 course.
• The scholarship will be distributed to the selected student’s account through NEFT under the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme.
• It is compulsory for all the students to enter the bank account details.
• Scholarship will be given to all the students till the completion of the course duration and special girl scholar will be given scholarship for 2 years.
