UPSC ESE 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India.
UPSC ESE 2021 Age Limit:
- The minimum age limit to apply for the UPSC ESE Exam Notification is 21 years and the maximum age limit is below 30 years.
- On the other hand, this upper age limit is relaxed up to 35 Years for the following Government employees:

UPSC ESE 2021 Educational Qualification:
In order to apply for the UPSC ESE, candidates must fulfill any of the following educational qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering from a Recognized University OR
- Passed Sections A and B of Examinations of Institution of Engineers (India) OR
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering from foreign University/College/Institution OR
- Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III of the Aeronautical Society of India OR
- Passed Graduate Membership Exam of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London
UPSC ESE 2020 Application Fee
- General and OBC Category Candidates who are going to apply for UPSC ESE Notification have to pay the application fee of Rs. 200/-.
- Female / SC / ST/ PH candidates are exempted to pay any amount of fee.
