Budget Allocation for 7th Pay Commission:
The total amount of budget allocated for the revised salary by state government and Finance ministry (Bihar state) is equivalent to 78,818.46 crore. The amount has been allocated for clearing the backlogs of the salary for employees.
According to budget 2017-18, it has been paid for the revised salaries from January onwards. Officials have also stated that this amount is Rs 6,541.51 crore more than what the government had allocated for 2016-17 fiscal year for the employees.
