Applicants will have to clear the Recruitment Entrance Exam to get selected. SBI set the cut off for Exam so, applicants who will score marks more than cut off will be called for Interview and Group Discussion round.

There 2 sections in SBI PO Exam

Written Exam is divided into two papers. Paper I is of objective type questions and Paper II is of descriptive type.

  1. Objective Tests: 200 marks
  2. Descriptive Test: 50 marks

Objective Paper Pattern

It consists of four sections

  • English Language {Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.}
  • General Awareness, Marketing and Computers
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation
  • Reasoning based questions of High Level

Descriptive Paper

  • Letter Writing
  • Paragraph Writing
  • Essay Writing
  • Precise Writing
  • Reading Comprehension

Selection Procedure

Applicants will be selected on the basis of Group Discussion and Interview followed by the Entrance Exam. Group Discussion (Total- 20 marks) & Interview (Total- 30 marks).
