CBSE Compartment Form Eligibility Criteria
a) CBSE Class 12th Compartment Form Eligibility
Students who appeared under category “Private” in May/June/July 2023 and result declared as COMPARTMENT is eligible to apply only in one subject in which placed in Compartment.
OR
Candidate who appeared under category “Private” in May/June/July 2023 with 6 Subjects and placed in compartment in two subjects shall appear in any one of the two subjects by submitting CBSE Compartment Form Class 12 / CBSE Class XII Compartment Form.
OR
Candidate who appeared in 6 subjects in May/June/July 2023 and declared PASS but could not clear one subject can submit CBSE 10+2 Compartment Form in that subject Examination under Improvement of Performance category.
OR
- Candidate who appeared under category “Private” in May/June/July 2023 and result declared as COMPARTMENT, also placed in category “COMPARTMENT” at the 1st chance Compartment examination
- 2nd chance Compartment examination held in May/June/July 2023 is eligible to apply only in one subject in which placed in Compartment, for 3rd chance Compartment examination.
b) CBSE Class 10th Compartment Form Eligibility:
Candidate who appeared under category “Private” in May/June/July 2023 and result declared as COMPARTMENT is eligible to fill CBSE Compartment Form Class 10 / CBSE Class X Compartment Form only in one or two subjects in which placed in Compartment.
OR
- Candidate who appeared under category “Private” in May/June/July 2023 and result declared as COMPARTMENT, also placed in category “COMPARTMENT” at the 1st chance Compartment examination
- 2nd chance Compartment examination held in May/June/July 2023 is eligible to apply only in one or two subjects in which placed in Compartment, for 3rd chance Compartment examination.

Mode of Payment:
CBSE 10th / 12th Compartment Form For Schools located in India:
Payment of examination fee can be made through two channels that are given as follows:
- Debit Card / Net Banking: If the payment mode is selected as Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking, you will be taken to payment gateway website for online payment. DO NOT TRY PAYING FEE AGAIN. You are also advised not to change the payment mode if fee is already debited from your account.
- e-Challan of HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Syndicate Bank: For all queries including non-updating of fee status on CBSE portal, duplicate payments etc. please mark an e- mail to the respective Regional Officer and a copy of the same to bank official.
CBSE 10th / 12th Compartment Form For Schools located Outside India:
Schools can send the Fee through SWIFT to following account within 4 days of finalization of data:
Examination Fee through wire transfer mode.

How to fill CBSE Compartment Form 2023
- Students first need to open official website of Central Board of Secondary Education that is www.cbse.nic.in.
- After that, candidates need to move to ‘Recent Announcements’ from right side on section.
- Select link ‘ONLINE SUBMISSION OF FORMS BY PRIVATE CANDIDATES COMPTT. CLASS X-XII 2023’ for CBSE Private Candidate Compartment Form.
- After that, new page will be displayed. You need to press on “Continue” button to get CBSE Compartment Application Form 2023.
- On next page, select CBSE Compartment Registration Form for Class 10th/ 12th.
- Then Enter Roll Number, School Code and Centre Number (as given on your hall ticket) and choose “Proceed” Button to fill CBSE Compartment Exam 3rd Chance Form.
- Fill CBSE Compartment Form Online by giving all essential information.
- Upload scanned images of photograph and signature and make the payment through proper channel along with CBSE Board Compartment Form .
- After filling CBSE Compartment Online Form, check all given information and then hit on “submit” button.
- At last, Take printout of confirmation page and Signed copy of confirmation page, copy of Mark-sheet along with proof of deposited Fee ( e-Challan) should be sent to ‘Regional Officer, CBSE Regional Office” within 7 days as per address given in confirmation page.
