CGPSC Prelims Exam

The preliminary examination is the first stage of selection process. This examination contains two papers i.e. paper I of General Studies and General Knowledge of Chhattisgarh and Paper II of General Aptitude. CGPSC Pre Exam Pattern:

The Preliminary examination will consist of Objective Type Questions (MCQs). Each question has 5 options with one correct option. Each correct answer will gain 2 marks and there will be negative marking for wrong answer that is 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

CGPSC Mains Exam Pattern

The main examination will contain the descriptive type questions. The questions will be very short type, short and long type. There will be 7 papers and each paper consists of 200 marks and to total time duration for each section will be 3 hours. Candidate’s absence in any paper of main examination will lead to disqualification.

Exam Pattern for Chhattisgarh PSC Civil Judge Preliminary & Mains Examination is given here.

Scheme of Online Preliminary Examination:

  • Question paper for Online Preliminary Examination shall be of 100 Marks and will consist of 100 objective type questions.
  • Each question will have four options to answer, out of which one option will be the correct answer.
  • Duration of the exam is 2 Hours.
  • The language of question paper of Online Preliminary Examination and Main written Examination will be English and Hindi.
  • The final selection will be on merit on the basis of total marks obtained in the written (Main) Examination and Viva-voce. The decision of the CGPSC with regard to calling the candidates for Viva-voce will be final. The maximum 15 marks are fixed for Viva-voce.

Scheme of Online Main Examination:

  • Duration of the exam is 3 Hours.
  • The exam is for 100 Marks.
