How to Check GATE Examination Result?
- Log on to official website that is gate.iitm.ac.in
- After reaching to the home page select the “Result of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2020” link
- Now you will redirect towards GATE Result 2020 login page having a dialog box.
- Enter Enrollment ID/Email Address and Password to get the GATE Result Name Wise.
- Afterwards a new window will be opened along with the “Score card of GATE” or GATE Exam Result.
- Candidates need to check GATE Result by Name
- At last candidates are advised to take a print out of Graduate Aptitude Test 2020 Result
- Keep GATE Results 2020 for further usage.

GATE Score Card 2020:
- After releasing of GATE Online Result, GATE 2020 Score Card will be available from 20-03-2020 to 30-05-2020.
- Only qualified candidates can download scorecard which will be valid for 3 years from date of declaration of Result of GATE.
- To get soft copy of GATE Rank Card, one has to pay Rs. 500.
- GATE Score Card 2020 is also used for recruitment in PSUs like BHEL, ONGC, SAIL, GAIL etc. & for pursuing ME/M.Tech and Direct Ph.D. from NITs, IITs and CFITs.

First of all, Visit the GOAPS Website. Enter the issued Enrollment ID, Password and Captcha. Now, Press Submit Button. GATE 2020 Score Card will appear on screen. Save it and Download for future reference

How to Calculate GATE Score?
- It is not possible to calculate the GATE score as it is calculated on the relative performance of a student in comparison with students who appeared for the same paper keeping the difficulty levels of the sessions in mind.
- Since the number of students who appeared for the certain GATE paper is not disclosed, it is not possible for students to calculate their scores.
- However, score predictor tools using past year’s trends should help with gauge the scores.

What After Downloading IIT Madras GATE Result?
- After completion of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, responsible authority will conduct GATE CCMT Counselling.
- Candidates, who are qualified, can appear for counselling procedure.
- Common counselling for admission will not be organized; candidates have to apply separately for admission to IITs.
- NITs will conduct the Centralized Counselling for M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan Admission (CCMT). counselling is conducted on basis of GATE score card on the 1st week of April 2020 through online mode.
- Students will be allotted seats on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) or GATE Merit List 2020 OR GATE Rank List.
