Institute of Banking Personnel Selection also called as IBPS which conducts common written tests and common interviews for the purpose of selection of suitable candidates.
The organisation acquired independent status in 1984. IBPS has an agreement with nineteen Public Sector Banks to conduct the eligibility exam for selection to these banks. The exam is termed as the Common Written Examination also known as CWE.
