SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern

• The SSC GD exam will be of objective types.
• The written examination consists of 80 questions carrying 100 marks.
• The total time duration for the test is 01 hours (60 minutes).
• The questions to be asked will be of Matriculation level.
• The Online Exam is going to be conducted in both Hindi and English.
• Duration of Online Exam – 60 minutes (1 hour) .

Selection Process:

Staff Selection Commission is going to select candidates on the basis of their performance in certain rounds that are mentioned below:

• Physical Standard Test/Physical Efficiency Test
• Online Computer Based Test  (CBT) 
• Medical Examination

Physical Standard Test (PST) requirements:

Height
For Males	170 cms.
For Females	157 cms.
Chest
For males only-Unexpanded	80 cms.
Expanded	Min expansion 5 cms.
Weight
For males and Females	Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) requirements:

	For Male	For Female Candidates
Race	5 Kms in 24 Minutes	1.6 Kms in 8½ Minutes
For Ladakh Region
Race	1 Mile in 6½ Minutes	800 Meters in 4 Minutes
