Aligarh Muslim University conducts the Entrance Exam 2018 for admitting students to its undergraduate programs in the field of medical, engineering and architecture such as B.Tech, B.Arch, MBBS and BDS. The students, who are looking their admission to undergraduate programs offered by Aligarh Muslim University, have to appear in AMU Entrance Examination 2018. AMU Eligibility Criteria

AMU Medical Entrance Exam 2018 Eligibility:

AMU MBBS / BDS are national level medical entrance exam. For Admission to these programmes there are following Eligibility criteria:

Qualifications and other details required:

AMUEEE (B.Tech) & B.Arch

Qualifying Exam

Applicants should have Qualifyed Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam


Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English subjects.

At least Marks

 At least 50% marks in total in the qualifying exam.

Diploma Holders

 Students who have completed diploma in engineering from this University with at least total of 50% marks are also eligible to apply.

AMUEEE Eligibility for MBA/MBA (IB)

Qualifying Exam

 The qualification required to apply for MBA programme is bachelor’s degree Qualified in any discipline.

At least Marks

Secure a at least total of 50% marks in above exam.

AMU Eligibility Criteria – MCA

Qualifying Exam

 Qualify B. Tech. / B. Arch. / B.E. with at least total of 55% marks. OR Qualify Bachelor’s degree in Science with 55% total marks & must have studied Mathematics with any two subjects (Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Application, Computer Maintenance, Information Technology).

AMUEEE Eligibility for Diploma in Engineering

Qualifying Exam

Must have Qualified Secondary School Certificate of this University or an equivalent exam with English, Science and Mathematics by securing at least 45% total marks.




Qualify Senior Secondary School Certificate exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths by securing at least total of 45% marks in these subjects.

Eligibility for AMUEEE – BUMS

Qualifying Exam

12th or its equivalent Qualifyed with PCB with at least total of 50% marks.

Age Required

 Age should not be less than 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

AMU Eligibility Criteria – B.A.LL.B.

Qualifying Exam

 Students who have completed Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam or its equivalent exam with not less than 50% total marks are eligible for this course.


Graduates of Deeni Madaris who have completed Bridge course from AMU with not less than 50% total marks are also eligible to apply.

Maximum Age Required

 22 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.

AMUEEE Exam Eligibility – M.A. (Mass Communication)

Qualifying Exam Prescribed qualification for this course is graduation.
At least Marks Qualifyed with at least total of 50% marks.

AMU Entrance Eligibility Criteria – M.Sc Biotechnology

Qualifying Exam

 At least educational requirement is Bachelor’s degree studied in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Agriculture & Veterinary Sciences.


Bachelors degree in Engineering and Technology (B. Tech.) or Medicine (M.B.B.S.) or B. Pharma with 55% marks.


Those who have completed M.Sc first year in relevant discipline with 55% marks or completed 3-years B.Sc degree are also eligible to apply.

AMU Eligibility Criteria for exam  – LL.M.

Qualifying Exam

 The qualifying exam for this course is LL.B./B.A.LL.B. Qualifyed from AMU or any other equivalent University.

At least Marks

 Qualify the above exam with at least 55% marks.

Eligibility Criteria for AMU – Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery

Qualifying Exam

 Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam Qualifyed from this University or an equivalent exam.

At least Marks

 Qualifyed the qualifying exam with not less than 40% marks in total of any one (Science/Arts Stream with English Core/English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational stream only or Vocational ANM).

Age Required

 Age should be in between 17-35 years as on 1st September of the year of admission. No age criteria for ANM registered Applicants.

AMU 2018 ligibility Criteria – B.Com (Hons)

Qualifying Exam

 Prerequisite qualification is Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam Qualifyed with commerce stream with at least 55% marks in total of English, Accounts and any two of the subjects from Economics, Business Studies, Business Organization, Commerce, Banking, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics & Statistics. OR Qualify Diploma in Secretarial Practice exam from AMU with at least 55% marks.

AMU Eligibility Criteria 2018 – B.A. (Hons.)

Qualifying Exam

 At least qualification requirement is  Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam.

At least Marks Qualifyed with at least 50% total marks.

 Qualify the above exam in English and three subjects from Accountancy, Arabic, Banking,Biology, Biotechnology, Business Organization, Business Studies, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Fine Arts, Geography, Hindi, History, Home  Science, Islamic  Studies,  Mathematics,  Persian,  Philosophy, Physical  Health Education, Physics, Political Science /Civics, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu and Modern Indian Languages (Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi and Kashmiri).

AMU Eligibility Criteria 2018 – B.Sc. (Hons.)

Qualifying Exam Qualify Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam.
At least Marks

 Qualify the above exam with 55% total marks.


 Qualify the exam in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.

AMUEEE Exam Pattern:

  • AMUEEE 2018 exam will be consists of 150 questions that are from the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Each and every right answer will rewarded with 1 Mark.
  • There is no negative marking system for wrong answers.
  • The total duration of the exam is 3 Hours.
  • Aspirants applying for stated exam must report at examination hall before 15 minutes before exam starts.

Exam Paper 1 and Paper 2:

  • AMUEEE exam consists of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
  • Paper 1 is conducted only for those candidates who are seeking admissions in Engineering and Technology
  • Paper 2 is compulsory for all the candidates seeking admissions in the Architecture courses.
