There are 5 questions ask from the number series topic. The level of the questions is moderate to difficult. Series is based on alternating series, difference in exponential form etc. 2-3 questions from this topic were doable.

Data Interpretation

There are 2 sets of Data Interpretation from which total 10 questions were asked. While tabular DI is tricky and calculative, line graph was comparatively doable.

Quadratic Equations

There are 5 questions asked from this topic. Level of these questions is seemed to be moderate and 4-5 questions are feasible.

Data Sufficiency

Another 5 questions are asked from this topic. Level of these questions is moderate.


There are total 15 questions asked. Major portion of this section is asked from miscellaneous category. Most of questions are from Probability, Partnership, Average, Mensuration, Mixture and Alligation, Boats and Streams, Time and Work, Problem on ages, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest etc. Level of these questions is moderate to difficult. This section comprises 2 sets of comprehension of total 16 questions. Passages are based on economically based on (Brexit issue). Synonym/ Antonym questions are asked from passage. Comprehensions are  lengthy but level of questions is moderate.

Fill in the blanks

There are total 5 questions asked from this topic. There is 2 fill in the blanks and 3 fillers in the sentence.

Spotting errors

The level of the questions is quite tough. Few question are easy but most of the tough.

Odd One Out

This is the new topic include in the question paper. A phrase/ sentence are given in the question and individual sentences are given in the option. There is no identify which statement did/ did not follow or give proper meaning of the given phrase or out of context as that of the statement in the question.

Para Jumbles

There are only 1-2 questions asked from this topic. The questions are from previous paper based on previous question pattern. You have to arrange all the sentences logically and identify the pattern in the given options.

Sentence Improvement

There are total 2-3 parts of a sentence given in bold here and you have to select the appropriate option that would improve the sentence.

Total 5 questions are asked from this topic. The level of the questions is tough.  Questions asked are based on data provided in 3 statements rather than 2 as it is usually asked. 2-3 questions are doable from this topic.

Coding – Decoding

Total 5 questions were asked from this topic. Pattern of this topic was changed this time. All the questions were based on last year IBPS Exam Pattern. 3-4 questions were doable from this topic.

Verbal / Logical Reasoning

Remaining questions of this section are asked from this topic. Questions are asked from Course of action, Cause and Effect etc. Level of these questions is moderate and 3-4 questions were doable.
