Indian students desirous to pursue studies in Japan can apply for Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. MEXT Scholarship is sponsored by Government of Japan. To apply for this Scholarship scheme, you need to fill a one-page application form and submit it to the Embassy of Japan in India. There is no requirement for knowledge of Japanese language to apply for Japanese Government (Mext) Scholarship program for 2018. Eligibility conditions for Research Student:

Research Student / Master’s Degree:

Aspirants may possess Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field with minimum 65% marks. Applicants should get their mark sheet and degree on or before 31st March 2018 for April 2018 batch and 30th September 2018 for October 2018 batch.

Ph.D. Degree:

  • Contenders may possess Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least 65% marks.
  • Aspirants may have practical research/teaching/work experience after obtaining the prescribed qualification on or before 31st March 2018 for April 2018 batch and 30th September 2018 for October 2018 batch.

Research Student/Master’s degree in Japanese Language:

  • You may possess Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree course in Japanese Language from a recognized university. Or
  • Candidates who have completed Bachelor’s degree course in any subject from a recognized university and acquired N2 Certificate of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) conducted by the Japan Foundation.

Ph.D. degree in Japanese Language:

Those who possess Master degree in Japanese Language from a recognized university or institute may apply for MEXT Scholarship 2018.

Management course:

 Minimum GMAT score of 650 with a Bachelor Degree is required.
