IIT JEE Eligibility Criteria:

Aspirants have to qualify JEE Main 2017 exam. Candidates should be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2017.

Limitations of Age

  • Applicants must have been born on or after 1st Oct. 1992.
  • The relaxation of five years will be provided to SC, ST and PwD category candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after Oct. 1987

How many attempts you can give?

  • Aspirants can attempt Joint Entrance Examination Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
  • Candidates who were appeared in Joint Entrance Examination Advanced in the year 2016 for the first time are also eligible.

What is Qualification Required?

  • Aspirants must have appeared in  12th class exam or its equivalent in the year of 2016- 2017
  • Candidates who have appeared in 12th Standard in the year of 2016 but would like to appear again in the upcoming year 2017, they have to appear in all the subjects.
  • Aspirants whose Class XII (or equivalent) examination Board results for the academic year 2014-15 were declared after June 2015 are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2017.
