SSC Multi-Tasking Staff Salary:

Candidates are informed that Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) covers a general central service group ‘C’ non-gazetted, non-ministerial post. Thus, the commission will be offered salary of Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-. The Salary Package and other allowances for SSC may vary for various posts.  Now in the 7th Pay Commission he is entitled for the Basic pay Rs. 18000/- and comes under the level of the following Pay Matrix Table. SSC MTS Career Growth

Through SSC Exam, Multitasking Staff appoints in the Group C central government employees. It the lowest posts thus aspirants who have passed in Matriculation they can apply for SSC MTS Recruitment. MTS Staff is promoted to lower division clerk (LDC) and appointed in different government departments and ministries if found fit for promotions. Along with promotion of MTS, the increments will also provide under Pay Band-I scheme, i.e. Annual increments and Promotional increments.

Annual Increments:

Annual increments are to be paid at the rate of 3% of the total pay in the Pay Band and the corresponding Grade Pay.

Promotional Increments:

For promotions of employees in the government offices of various ministries, the commission conducts departmental exam. According to posts, the salary and grade pay also change. According to the Rule 5(2) of Central Civil Accounts Service (Lower Division Clerk, Group ‘C’ post) Recruitment Rules 2010, 5 % of the vacancies in the grade of LDCs are to be filled by promotion on seniority basis through common “Range of Seniority” from amongst Group ‘C’ staff (Multi-Tasking Staff) who have three year regular service in post with the Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

Grade Pay increases with every promotion:

  • First Promotion: Rs. 1900/- after 3 years of service.
  • Second Promotion: Rs. 2000/- after 3 years of service.
  • Third Promotion: Rs. 2400/- after 5 years of service.
  • And so on upto Rs.5400/-

In Multitasking Staff Profile, individuals get salary increment on regular time period. Contenders get promoted to lower division clerk posts (depends up on their work performance) and receive pension after the retirement.
