Symbiosis University is a private co-educational, multi-institutional university which is located in Pune, Maharashtra India. This university was established in 2002 recognition by the UGC and the AICTE.

It is one of the leading learning Institutions of country. More than 75 countries students came for the admission in this university. Symbiosis today includes of 43 institutes convey training in different disciplines. This University offers a total of 107 programmes at Undergraduate, Post-graduate, diploma and Doctoral levels. Symbiosis University provides the sports facility and also providing in-house sports facilities for all the students and staff, so that they get a chance to enhance the abilities, will power and self-discipline. University Sports Board will also contribute to the protection and improvement of health.


This university provides library facilities to its students; The University has 20 libraries across all its campuses. The library directly supports the Research and instructional needs of the University.


University provides hostels facilities to the students, girls hostel facility are also available. The canteens in the campus make available the hygienic foods to the candidates.

Admission Process

Admission of the candidates will be based on four stages:

Stage 1:

All India Symbiosis National Aptitude Test for post graduates (SNAP)

SNAP Notification

Stage 2:

Register for SIMS (Nov-Jan)

Stage 3:

Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) process for all MBA programs, at multiple locations (Pune, NOIDA and Bengaluru campuses of SIU).

Stage 4:

Admission list made strictly as per merit. Selected candidates are also informed through a letter confirming their admission.

Month of commencement of Admission:

Admission to the courses will commence in the month of June and continue as per the admission schedule which is announced by the university every year.

Symbiosis Entrance Test

Application Process:

  • Applicants who want to take admission in Symbiosis University they must go through the official website to fill the online application form that is
  • Fill all the mandatory details in the application form, must upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature with the form and submit it within the given time period. How to fill online application form
  • After the completion of the form must take a print out of the filled form and send it along with the required Xerox copies of the particulars at the specified address of the university.

SNAP Syllabus

Month of entrance examination:

The Symbiosis University conducts the entrance examination in the April- May of every year.


The admissions of the eligible candidates to B. Tech program of the institute will be based on merit in any one of the entrance exams SET or JEE (Main ).The counseling process of different courses will be based on the marks obtained by the students in entrance exams and the rank. Aspirants are required to bring all the required particulars at the time of counseling.

  • Bank Demand Draft of Rs. 1,00,000/- drawn in favor of Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune, to be deposited at the time of admission
  • Bank Demand Draft of Rs. 50,000/- drawn in favor of Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune, to be deposited at the time of admission for hostel confirmation.
