  • चाल का सूत्र : चाल = दूरी / समय

चाल का मात्रक (Unit of Speed)

चाल का मात्रक मीटर/सेंटीमीटर अथवा किलोमीटर/घण्टा होता हैं।

यदि चाल मीटर/सेंटीमीटर में हैं, तो

  • किलोमीटर/घण्टा = 18/5 × मीटर/सेंटीमीटर

यदि चाल किलोमीटर/घण्टा में हैं, तो

  • मीटर/सेंटीमीटर = 5/18 × किलोमीटर/घण्टा

दूरी (Distance)

किसी व्यक्ति/यातायात के साधन द्वारा स्थान परिवर्तन को तय की गई दूरी कहा जाता हैं।

  • दूरी का सूत्र : दूरी = चाल × समय

समय (Time)

किसी व्यक्ति/यातायात के साधन द्वारा इकाई चाल से चली गई दूरी, उसके समय को निर्धारित करती हैं।

  • समय का सूत्र : समय = दूरी / चाल

Basic Formulas: 

Example: If a person travels some distance in 2 hours at a speed of 20 km/h.

Solution:

D=S×T
D= 20×2

To convert from Km/h to m/s multiply by 5/18. 

Example: A person travels 72 km distance in 4 hours. Find his speed in m/s.
